Our approach

Care that sees the person before the problem.

Psychiatry deconstructed is a place to slow down, understand what is happening, and make decisions with someone—not be handed a label and sent on your way.

The practitioner

Tejon Woods, DNP

PMHNP-BC · FNP-BC

Tejon is a doctorate-prepared, board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience delivering comprehensive mental health care.

As a military veteran, he understands the distinct experiences that can shape a veteran’s mental health and brings that perspective into care. His style is holistic and collaborative: listen carefully, make the plan understandable, and keep the work connected to the life you want to live.

The practice welcomes adolescents, adults, elders, and veterans, with individualized support for anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related conditions, and more.

What guides the work

A few things we believe.

Explore care
01

Curiosity is clinical

Good care starts with questions that make room for nuance.

02

Clarity builds trust

You deserve to understand your options, not just agree to them.

03

Small shifts count

Progress can be practical, gradual, and still deeply meaningful.
